Also, you say uninstalling and reinstalling did not solve your problem? What did? (My problem is that Windows Live Writer will come up momentarily, but before the window loads, it collapses. I have the same problem with IE.)

I needed to uninstall from an old laptop so someone else could use it. You were right about it being difficult to find. The path I took was the same as Collin. The program showed up as wlarp, without the exe, next to a windows logo.
